What is a Blog?

A blog (or weblog) is basically a journal or kind of a website that is available on the web. Blogs are typically updated daily and postings on a blog are arranged in chronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominently. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The blog of www.AllAboutTurkey.com is purely intended in promoting Turkey as a tourist destination throughout the world in every aspect such as top tourist sites, culture, arts, cuisine, traditions and latest news. To view our blog, please visit and bookmark http://all-about-turkey.blogspot.com/

What is RSS?

RSS (Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication) is a format for syndicating news and the content of news-like sites and personal weblogs (or Blogs). Once information about each item is in RSS format, an RSS-aware program can check the feed for changes and react to the changes in an appropriate way.

RSS-aware programs called news aggregators are popular in the weblogging community. A news aggregator can help you keep up with all your favorite weblogs by checking their RSS feeds and displaying new items from each of them. For a free RSS reader on a Windows based system we recommend Feedreader (www.feedreader.com), you can download this free program and connect to any RSS feed you want on a website. Feedreader is a lightweight open-source aggregator that supports RSS and ATOM formats. There are also many other free aggregators to download from the Internet.

After you download and install the program, you can point to our news feed located at https://www.allaboutturkey.com/news/news.rss . PLEASE NOTE that the RSS feed is discontinued on my website, therefore you can read old news only.
